A Project is a saved workspace for a business location or local webpage in Modfyr. It brings together that location's audit findings, scores, tracked search results, and Action Plan so you can return to them over time. Open your Projects dashboard to view your saved work.
Modfyr brings your local website, business information, search visibility, competitors, and AI Readiness into one place. It helps you understand what is working, what needs attention, and which improvements to prioritize.
Enter your business name and location, then select the correct business. Modfyr uses the relevant local page and business information to prepare your report. Make sure you select the right location before reviewing the findings.
You can begin a free audit without entering a credit card or creating an account. Saving projects and accessing ongoing features may require signing in, and some tools depend on your plan.
Open your project and review its key findings and Action Plan. Look at the biggest gaps in Content, Schema, Query Analysis, and Compete where available. Start with changes you can verify and realistically complete.
They summarize different groups of signals Modfyr found on your page. Use them to identify strengths and weaknesses and track progress. A high score does not guarantee a Google ranking, AI citation, or more leads.
Your Google Business Profile helps customers find you in Maps, while your website adds detail about services, location, expertise, and customer questions. Keeping both clear and consistent makes it easier for people and search systems to understand your business.
It checks for helpful answers, localized content, business details and hours, supporting internal links, review content, FAQ alignment, and consistent page wording. Each result points to something worth checking or improving; no single check guarantees better rankings.
It means the page provides meaningful information about the location or area served. Useful examples include location-specific services and practical details customers need. Repeating a city name many times is not the goal.
These are useful links from your local page to related pages on your own website, such as service details and supporting information. Clear links help visitors find answers and help search engines understand how your pages fit together.
It checks whether business details represented on your website agree with corresponding Google Business Profile information. If something is flagged, verify the correct business name, address or service area, hours, and other facts before changing them.
Not currently. Modfyr supports up to four tracked queries for a project. We may consider increasing that limit based on customer demand, but additional query slots are not available today.
Query Analysis shows how your business performs for specific local searches. It separates Website results from Maps results so you can see where your visibility is stronger or weaker.
Choose searches that reflect your main services, business category, and the words local customers actually use. A few relevant searches are usually more useful than many broad keywords.
Website Rank shows where your website appears in standard search results. Map Rank shows where your business appears in local map results. The two can differ for the same search.
Search Coverage is the percentage of measured grid locations where your business appeared within the tracked ranking range. If it ranked at five of nine locations, coverage is about 56%. That does not mean you receive 56% of searches, visitors, or customers.
Results can change with the searcher's location, the search phrase, nearby competitors, and local relevance. The grid helps you see those differences. An unranked location means your business was not found within the measured range, not that it can never appear there.
Modfyr supports weekly scheduled measurements for eligible tracked queries. Check the date shown with your results to see when they were last measured. Newly added or changed searches may have different collection statuses, and availability depends on your plan.
It evaluates how clearly your website presents business identity, services, helpful answers, trust signals, and information AI systems can interpret. It is a readiness assessment, not a promise that an AI service will mention your business.
They overlap: both benefit from useful content, accurate location details, and trust. AI Readiness also looks at whether business facts and answers are easy for AI systems to understand and attribute.
It compares available AI citation results for tracked searches and shows how often your business appears within the measured comparison. It is not a measure of every AI search or all customer demand.
A clear page may still not be selected as a source for a particular question. Results depend on the query, available sources, competitors, and the AI system. Review readiness findings and measured citations separately.
No. Modfyr can help identify clearer, more useful information and show measured citation results where available. AI systems decide which sources to use.
Compete compares your business with selected local competitors across available Website, Maps, reviews, and AI signals. It highlights where you lead, where others are stronger, and which gaps may be worth addressing.
Relevant competitors are businesses competing for similar local searches in the area being analyzed. Review the selected businesses to make sure they represent your real market.
Query Analysis measures around your business location. Compete uses a shared search area for the selected businesses, so the rankings and coverage can differ even for the same query.
It is a comparison of measured search visibility among the selected businesses and available signals. It is not actual revenue share, customer share, or search volume.
Compare ranking strength, review strength, coverage, and available AI visibility, then read the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats, and Top Priorities. Use the findings to guide improvements to your own business, not to assume one factor caused a competitor's rankings.
It is structured information on a website that describes a business and its location. It can include the name, address or service area, contact information, hours, and other verified facts.
It reviews business information and structured data Modfyr can detect, including missing, incomplete, or inconsistent details. Use the findings to check your actual page before making changes.
Missing means expected information was not detected. Partial means some information was found but gaps or mismatches remain. Aligned means the information checked is consistent. Open the details to see exactly what was evaluated.
No. Add structured data only when it accurately describes content that really appears on the page and meets applicable requirements. Helpful answers and genuine review content can be valuable even without a particular rich-result feature.
Modfyr helps identify issues and can guide you in preparing changes. You remain in control of reviewing and publishing updates to your website.
Your Action Plan turns findings into prioritized steps. Each recommendation explains what to address and why it matters for your business.
Start with high-priority items supported by clear findings, especially issues affecting business information, local relevance, helpful answers, or important customer journeys. Confirm business facts before publishing changes.
Mark Complete records an item as finished and moves it out of your active Action Plan into Activity. Ignore removes it from your active list without claiming it was completed. Neither action automatically changes your website.
Activity records completed work and lets you review it alongside saved performance observations. It helps you remember what changed and when, without claiming a specific action caused a ranking change.
Website Rank and Map Rank are ranking positions, where lower is better. Website Coverage and Map Coverage show how much of the measured search area you reached, where higher is better. Look for patterns over time rather than treating one week's movement as proof of cause and effect.
Ask it to explain scores, interpret findings, compare available competitor results, prioritize Action Plan items, or suggest improvements. It can also explain how Modfyr features work in everyday language.
When you have access to the relevant project information, the Agent can use available saved findings, scores, recommendations, and search results to make answers more specific. It should distinguish your actual results from general guidance.
It can help plan or draft wording and implementation guidance based on available information. Review business facts, claims, and structured data before publishing anything.
No. The Agent provides guidance and drafting help; it does not automatically publish changes on your behalf.
A measurement may not be available, the feature may not be included in your plan, or the requested fact may not be in your saved project. The Agent should explain the limitation rather than guess.
Yes. Modfyr supports location-specific projects and multi-location workflows. Available capacity and features depend on your plan.
Different locations may have different services, business details, reviews, competitors, and search visibility. Separate analysis helps you avoid assuming one branch represents every location.
Use the multi-location dashboard and individual location reports where available. Review each location's scores, Website and Maps visibility, and Action Plan before drawing conclusions.
The most useful searches can vary by branch, services, and local customer intent. Choose relevant searches for each location using the query controls available to your account.
Not automatically. A recommendation may depend on a particular page, location, or competitor. Reuse good practices, but verify the evidence and facts for each branch.
The free experience lets you start with a local SEO audit and see the information included in the free report. Paid plans offer additional saved-project capacity and access to more ongoing analysis and features, depending on the subscription. Compare options under Upgrade / Plans (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing) before choosing a plan.
AI Readiness focuses on understanding your own business's website, local SEO, AI readiness, and available search measurements. Compete builds on those capabilities with competitor comparisons and competitive-market reporting. Review the current feature list and allowances under Upgrade / Plans (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing).
Yes, eligible paid accounts can purchase additional project capacity. Add-ons must match your current subscription: an AI Readiness subscription can add AI Readiness project capacity, while a Compete subscription can add Compete project capacity. Adding capacity does not upgrade your plan or unlock a different plan's features. Use Add Projects in billing settings (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing) to review the options available to your account, then use your Projects dashboard (https://seo.modfyr.com/dashboard) to manage projects.
Not currently. Modfyr does not yet offer additional users or team-member seats within one account. This may be considered for a future release, but no availability date is promised.
Not currently. You can keep your subscription active or manage cancellation (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing) through your billing settings. Pausing without canceling is not an available option.
Open Settings → Billing (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing), select Manage Account, and follow the cancellation steps. If cancellation is scheduled for the end of your paid period, access and projects remain until it takes effect. Important: when cancellation takes effect, Modfyr permanently removes your saved projects and associated project history, including saved analyses and tracked results. This cannot be recovered by resubscribing. Download or retain anything you need before your cancellation becomes effective. Your login account is not necessarily deleted when your subscription ends.
You can begin with a free local SEO audit and review the information included in the free experience. Saved-project capacity and ongoing or advanced analysis depend on the current plan.
Check Settings → Billing (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing) for current access and limits. Project capacity, competitor tools, AI features, and Agent usage may vary by plan.
Use Upgrade / Plans (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing) to review available subscriptions and project add-ons. For an existing paid subscription, open Settings → Billing (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing) and choose Manage Account to review billing or subscription changes.
You may need to upgrade or add project capacity (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing), or wait until the relevant allowance becomes available. Follow the guidance shown in your account because different limits work differently.
A downgrade may reduce available features or project capacity and require you to select projects for removal. Cancellation is different: once it takes effect, saved projects and their history are permanently deleted. Review timing and consequences in Settings → Billing (https://seo.modfyr.com/settings/billing) before confirming either action.
